Beyonce Can Do Whatever She Wants Gavin Adcock!

This video goes out to country singer Gavin Adcock who has something to say about Beyoncé’s album. He actually complimented her but said that he doesn’t feel that her album should be considered country. First of all, if you’re a real musician and know your history then you’ll know that country music is black. It’s invented by poor, oppressed black people. Beyonce has the right to whatever she wants! I’m sorry to say this but white folks have come and taken/stolen black music & appropriated it. There used to be a time where black artists couldn’t even be on their own album covers. James Brown had an album with a white baby on it. Sam Philips helped change that and allow black artists to have their own stuff.

So for you to say Beyoncé’s album doesn’t feel country, what does that mean? You guys do rock, hip-hop, all other genres but we can’t do country? Black folks got the right to do whatever tf we want!
